The potentials of Nigeria youth in IT, Engineering, Art, Medicine, Communication e.t.c can not be over emphasized, until we value what we have and what we can do, we will continue to depend on the outside world. At Young Developers Network we are saying our Independence is real and we are making it a reality by being independent in all aspect of production, we can see Made in Nigeria Cloths, Cars, Computers, Cell phones, Soft wares, Solar Modules, e.t.c we are already thinking like that.
Nigeria Vision 2020 is achievable, and we are already living the vision. A man is not greater than his thought. We are bringing youth together from different professions and discipline, craft men and women, apprentices in cities and villages changing the way they think and supporting creative individuals to achieve their goals.
Education is the instrument for making this vision a reality that is why Young Developers Network has taken this as a burden, to widen the knowledge of Nigerians in various aspect of ICT from the grass level (Primary School, Secondary School, Higher Institutions, Organizations and in Government), and prepare them for global challenges.
We need to tell the world that we can! There are thousands of Nigerians abroad doing wonders at all levels of education and in diverse field of study, we know of someone who was given scholarship by a State Government to study computer science at Singapore, he finished with first class honors. Before the completion of his project, three different software companies at Singapore had already invited him to work with them with attractive pay (He is home now). This is just a case out of many others. We are bringing all our potentials abroad back home to build our own industries, it is high time we wake from our slumber and we know we can.
